Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott has ‘a lot to prove’ in 2020

The Dallas Cowboys are expected to make waves in the NFC once again in 2020. America’s Team has the talent on both sides of the football to be a force to be reckoned with during the upcoming NFL season with a few players looking to prove their worth.

One star player that aims to make a statement during the 2020 campaign is running back, Ezekiel Elliott. The 25-year-old is as motivated as ever heading into another season with the Cowboys with his primary goal being to win a Super Bowl title for storied NFL franchise, via Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk.

“I think I do have a lot to prove,” Elliott said. “I have high expectations of myself. It’s not something you go enforce. You just go grind, go to work every day and let it happen.”

Elliott has only one goal this season, and it’s a big one.

“My individual goals are just win a Super Bowl,” Elliott said. “We have a great team. This is our time. That’s all of our goals. Just win a Super Bowl and everything else is going to fall in place after that.”

Elliott is coming off yet another solid season in which the star running back rushed for 1,357 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also caught 54 passes for 420 yards and two touchdowns making him one of the most dynamic offensive players on the team and arguably in the conversation for the best back in the NFL today.

The Cowboys will be hoping for another top-notch season from their star back and if Elliott is as motivated as he claims to be, Dallas might have a good chance of being one of the favorites to be Super Bowl-bound this season.
