Cowboys star CeeDee Lamb to miss the rest of the season
The Dallas Cowboys announced that star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb will miss the last two games of the season due to a shoulder injury.
The All-Pro wideout has been dealing with an AC Joint injury that occurred on Nov. 3 against the Atlanta Falcons. Since then, Lamb has dealt with lingering issues weekly that have worsened this week.
The Cowboys stated that surgery would not be required but that Lamb would need treatment and rehabilitation.
“Additional examinations and scans this week on CeeDee Lamb’s shoulder have determined that his injury has now progressed to a point that he will be listed as ‘Out’ for the remaining two games of the season,” the Cowboys stated in a press release.
“He will undergo a process of treatment and rehabilitation for his shoulder, is not currently expected to require surgery and is projected to make a full recovery.”
It wraps up another highly productive campaign for Lamb as he currently ranks second with 101 catches and third with 1,194 receiving yards along with six touchdowns. It marks the fourth consecutive campaign with at least 1,000 receiving yards and the third straight with at least 100 receptions.

Lamb maintained his high level of production despite not playing with Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott throughout much of the season. He has established himself as one of the premier offensive talents and a key piece of the Cowboys’ future.
Lamb is set to begin his four-year, $136 million extension that he signed back in August that runs through the 2028 season.
