Dolphins rookie RB De’Von Achane could miss time with injury
The Miami Dolphins are, without a doubt, one of the best teams in the NFL this season. They have arguably the best offense in the league led by wide receiver Tyreek Hill and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. The team recently put on a clinic against the Denver Broncos, putting up 70 points on Sean Payton’s squad.
Along with Tagovailoa, Hill and Waddle, the team has gotten an unexpected boost on offense from rookie RB De’Von Achane.

Unfortunately, Achane went down with a knee injury in Week 5 in the win over the New York Giants. The severity of the injury is unknown at this point.
Dolphins running back De’Von Achane is being evaluated for a knee injury, coach Mike McDaniel said Monday.
The severity is yet to be determined, and McDaniel declined to say whether the rookie would miss time or was undergoing an MRI. Achane suffered the injury during Sunday’s victory against the New York Giants, although the coach declined to specify exactly when it occurred.

If Achane misses some time, it will be a big blow to what the Dolphins have been doing on offense this year. He’s been incredibly consistent this year and a dependable player for Miami.
Achane has already racked up 560 yards on the ground while reaching the end zone five times. As well as that, he’s rushed the football and twice through the air from Tagovailoa passes.
