Drew Rosenhaus hopes Steelers ‘get a great amount of compensation’ by trading Antonio Brown

The ongoing saga around Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown took yet another turn on Tuesday. Brown met with team president Art Rooney II.
Following the sit-down, Brown had taken to social media. He announced that the two sides had come to the conclusion that working out a trade was the best resolution.  His agent, Drew Rosenhaus confirmed this notion during an interview with ESPN’s NFL Live shortly thereafter, according to Jeremy Fowler.

“They have the ability to talk to other teams right now and find the best deal for them,” Rosenhaus told ESPN. “We hope they get a great amount of compensation. We want everybody to win here. it would be great for the Steelers to get what they deem fair compensation for Antonio, and for Antonio to find a new team at this point. And we reap all the positives from that. So that is where it is.”
Although this latest development pushes things forward in the direction of a trade possibly being worked out, there is still much that could transpire. There is no rush for Pittsburgh to follow through with a trade at this point in time.

The team could simply wait until a feasible deal is presented to them on the trade market. There have been several teams that have been rumored to be interested in Brown such as the San Francisco 49ers,  New Orleans Saints, and Green Bay Packers.
Ultimately, this is yet another step toward this entire situation being resolved.
