Jones remains in the NFC North, where he will have the chance to face the Packers twice next season. Green Bay chose to part ways with him after signing former Pro Bowl running back Josh Jacobs to a four-year, $48 million deal.

Minnesota will likely look to feature Jones in a significant role after quarterback Kirk Cousins in free agency on a four-year, $180 deal with the Atlanta Falcons.

The Vikings inked veteran quarterback Sam Darnold to a one-year, $10 million deal. The front office will likely look to further address the position through the upcoming draft.
