Julio Jones and AJ Brown ruled out for Titans in Week 4

Since suffering a disappointing loss in the season opener, the Tennessee Titans secured back-to-back wins heading into Week 4 action.

However, the team may have a bit more of a difficult task ahead as star wide receivers Julio Jones and A.J. Brown are listed out for the contest due to hamstring injuries, according to ESPN.

The Tennessee Titans will be without top receivers A.J. Brown and Julio Jones this week against the New York Jets, according to coach Mike Vrabel. Vrabel also said the team will be without outside linebacker Bud Dupree this week.

Brown exited the Week 3 win against the Indianapolis Colts due to the injury. He has struggled to find headway this season as he’s recorded three catches for 92 receiving yards and a touchdown.

The Ole Miss product is well below his usual production. He recorded back-to-back 1,000 receiving yard campaigns in his first two seasons. Meanwhile, Jones played the first three games, where his production has fluctuated.

The All-Pro wideout has tallied 12 catches for 204 receiving yards and zero touchdowns. Jones had a strong performance in Week 2 overtime win over the Seattle Seahawks, where he had six catches for 128 receiving yards.

The other two games featured him as largely a non-factor in the passing game, with six total receptions for 66 receiving yards. With both Jones and Brown out, expect the Titans to lean more heavily on star running back Derrick Henry.

The Pro Bowler is currently tied for the league lead with 353 rushing yards and tied for first with three rushing touchdowns.
