Kareem Hunt is happy for the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs

It has been roughly over a year since Kareem Hunt was let go from the Kansas City Chiefs after his disappointing incident involving kicking a woman.

Since then, Kareem Hunt has worked his way in to help restructure his life and decision-making to help keep him on the right path. With the Chiefs winning Super Bowl 54, the former Pro Bowl running back has voiced that he has nothing but respect and happiness for his former team winning a championship, according to Nate Ulrich of The Akron Beacon Journal.

“I’ve been moved on from that,” Hunt said. “But I love those guys. I’ve got brothers on that team. I came in with a lot of those players. I love the coaches there. They’re all good people and they deserved it, and I’m happy for them. I talk to a lot of them, and I’m very happy for them. They’re champs. They deserve it. I know how hard that team works and how hard they stress to be great.”

It was a situation that Hunt’s decision-making worked him out of playing for the franchise. The Chiefs made the right move to part ways with him after his actions surfaced. Any team would have gone the same route with him.

Kareem Hunt has moved on and is looking to get his career back on track in his second campaign with the Cleveland Browns. He will have an opportunity to play a significant role in the offense in his second season with the Browns behind Pro Bowler Nick Chubb.
