Khalil Mack confident Bears will win no matter who is starting at QB
After a disappointing outcome to the 2019 NFL season, the Chicago Bears took action regarding the quarterback position. Chicago still has faith in Mitchell Trubisky as the future of the position. However, the team brought in some much-needed motivation by acquiring one-time Super Bowl champion, Nick Foles.
After acquiring Foles from the Jaguars, speculation began to run rampant about whether the team had given up on Trubisky. For the time being, that doesn’t seem to be the case, but there’s definitely a quarterback competition brewing in the Windy City and superstar Khalil Mack believes it won’t even matter who wins the starting job under center, via Bears Wire.

“All in all, man, just knowing the two guys that are up for the job, whatever they decide to go with, we’re going to be ready,” Mack said. “We’re going to be ready to win a lot of ballgames, and I can’t wait. Whether it’s [Foles] or [Trubisky], we’re going to win.”
There’s no question that when the Bears are locked in on both sides of the football they are among the elite in the NFL. They proved that a few years ago once they acquired Khalil Mack from the then-Oakland Raiders. That year, they suffered a hard-fought loss in the playoffs.
The real question moving forward for Chicago will be whether Mack is right. Foles has shown with the right pieces around him he can lead a team to the Super Bowl while Trubisky has only proven that he might not be the answer for the Bears with little progress since the team drafted him.
Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, the Bears will be an interesting team to watch moving forward.
