NFL power rankings: Top 10 teams entering 2021
With July only a few days away, it’s time for some NFL Power rankings. These 10 teams have the best shot at Super Bowl LVI.
10. Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson is great, but the Ravens are 1-3 with him in the postseason. Can they create enough explosive plays in the passing game? It remains the overwhelming question in Charm City.
9. San Francisco 49ers
It’s hard not to love the 49ers roster. This team went to the Super Bowl two years ago but was racked by injuries in 2020. If San Francisco can stay healthy, it has one of the best squads. The big concern is, of course, health.

8. Tennessee Titans
After adding Julio Jones, the Titans have a tremendous group of weapons including running back Derrick Henry and receiver A.J. Brown. Does the defense hold up at all, though?
7. Cleveland Browns
Few teams have a better roster than the Browns, who are loaded offensively and improved by a large margin defensively. If Odell Beckham Jr. stays healthy and Baker Mayfield takes a step forward, this is a championship team.
6. Los Angeles Rams
Easily the toughest to figure of these NFL Power rankings. Matthew Stafford has immense talent, but never won a playoff game or division crown with the Detroit Lions. He’s also dealt with injuries the past few years. The potential is sky-high, for both winning it all or winning seven games.
5. Seattle Seahawks
Seattle had a brief scare this offseason when it appeared quarterback Russell Wilson wanted out, but everyone has settled down. The Seahawks have a terrific offense and a defense that, while there are clear issues, has stars like linebacker Bobby Wagner, safety Jamal Adams and edge rusher Carlos Dunlap. It’s a very good team.

4. Green Bay Packers
Will Aaron Rodgers play, and if so, does he play a whole season? With Rodgers, the Packers were arguably the NFL’s best team last season, and could be so again in 2021.
3. Buffalo Bills
The Bills went 13-3 last year, won the AFC East, advanced to the conference title game, and got beaten by the Kansas City Chiefs. No shame there. Now they bring the entire team back for another run. Look out for Buffalo.
2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Probably the best roster in football, led by seven-time champ Tom Brady. The Bucs are loaded. The main concern here is how many of their 30 and 40-something stars can play another full year. Tampa Bay had great health last season, does it happen twice? If so, the Buccaneers will be in the Super Bowl.
1. Kansas City Chiefs
After rebuilding their offensive line to the umpteenth degree, Â the Chiefs are loaded. While their roster has more holes than Tampa’s, the defense is good, the offense is insane and Patrick Mahomes is the tipping point. If the line stays healthy, Kansas City is the clear favorite after an excellent offseason.
