NFL Week 13 odds: 5 best bets on underdogs

NFL Week 13 begins with a Thursday Night Football double header. Below we look at the five best underdogs bets for NFL Week 13.

5. Minnesota Vikings (+3) at Seattle Seahawks

The Vikings played well in their last primetime affair, beating the Dallas Cowboys, 28-24. Now they take on the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field after getting the week off. While Minnesota might be the underdog, it has been playing great football as of late. Kirk Cousins is a dark horse MVP candidate and the Seahawks, whole an excellent team, are only 3-2 at home and barely beat the winless Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams.

4. Buffalo Bills (+6.5) at Dallas Cowboys

The Bills probably don’t win this game, but they should cover. Six and a half points are a to considering the Cowboys have not looked good since the first three weeks of the season, and their opponents then? The New York Giants, Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins. Those teams each currently have two wins. Buffalo is 8-3 and fighting to keep pace in the AFC playoff picture. Look for a tight game on Thanksgiving afternoon from these two postseason hopefuls.

3. Miami Dolphins (+9) vs. Philadelphia Eagles

The Dolphins are a tough team to read, considering they won two consecutive games and then got blown out by the Bills and Cleveland Browns. Still, getting nine points at home with Ryan Fitzpatrick at the helms too tasty to pass up. Miami doesn’t have to win. It simply has to cover, and considering how poorly the Eagles have played much of the season, it’s not hard seeing that happen.

2. Arizona Cardinals (+3) vs. Los Angeles Rams

Why aren’t the Cardinals a good bet to win straight up? Arizona is coming off the bye, at home, and the Rams looked like a shell of a football team in their 45-6 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night. Yes, Los Angeles is the better team, but Jared Goff is horrible with 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions this year. Kyler Murray is the better quarterback, the Cardinals are having more fun, and they pull the upset.

1. San Francisco 49ers (+6) at Baltimore Ravens

How are the Niners getting six points here? Look, maybe the Ravens handle business again and blow out San Francisco, but this is a 10-1 team that just took apart Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. There’s a real argument to be made the 49ers are the best team in football, so giving them six here? Stealing. Baltimore is at home, but it’s also on a short week and San Francisco is playing great ball in its own right.
