NFL Week 18 schedule: 5 best games to watch

We’re ready for the NFL Week 18 schedule to play out this weekend, and these five games are the best of the slate.

5. Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens (-5.5)

The Steelers and Ravens are one of the best rivalries the NFL has to offer, and it has plenty of meaning this time around. For starters, both teams are still trying to get into the playoffs, although each needs a ton of help including the two-win Jacksonville Jaguars beating the Indianapolis Colts. However, this will be even better remembered for the final game of Ben Roethlisberger. A long, Hall of Fame journey coming to a close in Baltimore.

4. Indianapolis Colts (-15.5) at Jacksonville Jaguars

Speaking of the Jaguars and Colts, this has to make the list despite the enormous spread and blowout potential. Indy already beat Jacksonville at Lucas Oil Stadium, but it was a one-score game that came down to the final minutes. Additionally, the Colts haven’t won on the road against the Jaguars since 2014, including last year when Jacksonville beat them in Week 1 and then lost its final 15 games. With a win, the Colts make the playoffs. With a loss, they’re likely out.

3. New Orleans Saints (-4.5) at Atlanta Falcons

The Saints still have a chance to make the playoffs despite being 8-8. They need to go on the road against their biggest rivals and beat the Falcons, all while hoping the San Francisco 49ers trip up at SoFi Stadium and lose to the Los Angeles Rams. For the Falcons, this game means nothing but a little bit of pride and draft position. For New Orleans, its entire season rides on the outcome.

2. San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams (-4.5)

As said above, the 49ers are trying to make the playoffs and ward off the Saints, who need to both beat the Falcons and have San Francisco lose. Should Kyle Shanahan’s club find a way to beat the Rams for a sixth consecutive time, they’ll make the playoffs as the No. 6 seed in the NFC playoff picture. Los Angeles can also wrap up the NFC West with a victory.

1. Los Angeles Chargers (-3) at Las Vegas Raiders

This is the best game of the week. On Sunday night, the Raiders host the Chargers with the winner going to the playoffs and the loser out, barring if the Raiders get an Indianapolis loss to the Jaguars. For Los Angeles, there’s no help, it’s either win or go home.
