NFL Week 7 schedule: 5 best games to watch

The NFL Week 7 schedule is about to get its Sunday slate rolling. These five games are the best of the considerable bunch.

5. Green Bay Packers (-4.5) at Washington Commanders

The Packers have to get something going after losing to both the New York teams over the past two weeks. Washington is 2-4 and has enjoyed a nice mini bye after beating the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Thursday night in Week 6. For Green Bay, winning this contest is of paramount important. At 3-3, the Packers are two games back in the NFC North. Additionally, they already have a loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Time to get moving.

4. Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans (-2.5)

This isn’t the sexiest matchup in the world, but it’s an important one. The Colts are a half-game back of the Titans in the AFC South, with Tennessee having already beat Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium. If the Colts are going to make a run of the division, it’s necessary to split the series. If Indy can do it, the Colts would somehow be 4-2-1 despite being incredibly underwhelming over the first two months of the season.

3. Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Chargers (-4.5)

If there’s a game that could be 42-38 this weekend, this is it. Justin Herbert is playing at an elite level despite the coaching he’s getting (which has him throwing shorter and shorter by the week) while Geno Smith is the surprise of the league over in Seattle. If we know anything about these two franchises, the Seahawks and Chargers are going to give us the weirdest possible outcome. Should be a phenomenal watch.

2. Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens (-6.5)

The Browns are 2-4 and their next four games are against the Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In short, it’s time to play their best football of the season or starting wondering how high their pick will be … before handing it over to the Houston Texans. However, if Cleveland wins on Sunday, it actually moves ahead of Baltimore in the AFC North standings. Huge, huge opportunity here.

1. Kansas City Chiefs (-1) at San Francisco 49ers

Easily the best game of the week. San Francisco just added All-Pro running back Christian McCaffrey, who will be suiting up on Sunday in a select amount of plays. Meanwhile, the Chiefs have star quarterback Patrick Mahomes going against one of the league’s best defenses, something he’s already done a few times this year. The winner will come out feeling very confident, while the loser, still a contender, has some answers to find.
