NFL Week 7 odds: 5 favorites to bet on Sunday

NFL Week 7 kicks off with the Broncos VS the Chiefs on Thursday Night Football. We take a look at five favorites bets for NFL Week 7.

5. Tennessee Titans (-2) vs. Los Angeles Chargers

This is a classic game to bet. Tennessee has looked awful the past two weeks, scoring a combined seven points. Now, Marcus Mariota is finally going to the pine while Ryan Tannehill steps in. Will that make a difference one the long haul? Questionable. It will, however, make a difference this week. In situations like this, a jolt of energy will roll through the building and roster. There’s a little something extra going into each practice. Meanwhile, the Chargers have to fly across the country to play a charged-up team while battling a million injuries.

4. Seattle Seahawks (-3.5) vs. Baltimore Ravens

Why would anybody bet on the Ravens to win or cover in this one? Baltimore has beaten the Miami Dolphins (0-6), Cincinnati Bengals (0-6), Arizona Cardinals (2-3-1) and Pittsburgh Steelers (2-4). We’re talking a combined record of 4-19-1. Not great, Bob. Also, the Seahawks have been great at home throughout Russell Wilson’s entire career. Speaking of Wilson, he’s the league MVP right now, having thrown for 14 touchdowns and zero interceptions while completing 72 percent of his throws. Good luck stopping Seattle in this spot.

3. Indianapolis Colts (-1) vs. Houston Texans

Great game. Might even be the best game of the week as the Texans and Colts are battling for first place in the AFC South. So why take the Colts here? For starters, they are coming off their bye week and have gotten much healthier with the return of linebacker Darius Leonard and a slew of others. Additionally, the game is in Indianapolis. It’s a toss-up game, but give the advantage to the home team with rest and a better coach on its side.

2. Green Bay Packers (-5.5) vs. Oakland Raiders

The Packers are a tricky pick here. Why? Because even though they are 5-1, the offense has been anything but great so far. However, the defense has been excellent. Furthermore, Aaron Rodgers going against Derek Carr is a huge mismatch, especially at Lambeau Field. When is the last time Carr beat a top-tier quarterback? You’ll be checking the records for a while. Take Rodgers, the Packers and the swallow the 5.5 points on Sunday.

1. Los Angeles Rams (-3) at Atlanta Falcons

This is the easiest pick of the week. The Rams have been struggling the past three weeks, but this is the perfect tonic. The Falcons could stop a JV team from scoring 30 points right now. Atlanta should be able to score a few points as well, but the Rams should not have to punt at all. Atlanta is a mess, and Los Angeles is very desperate.
