Rams RB Todd Gurley ‘super excited’ to get back to work

The Los Angeles Rams look like they’ll go into their playoff matchup against the Dallas Cowboys this weekend with their best offensive weapon health and ready to go. Star running back Todd Gurley seemingly ready to get back on the floor. As well as that, he’s amped at the prospect of playing again come Saturday.

Gurley recently opened up about the Rams’ upcoming playoff game against the Cowboys and how he feels after nursing his knee injury the last few weeks in preparation for the team’s first game in the postseason, via Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk.

“It’s good,” Gurley said. “. . .See how I wake up and feel tomorrow. But everything went pretty good today, so just super excited about that, honestly.”

The Rams will head into this matchup of NFC heavyweights as seven-point favorites. The game will be played on their home field of Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and with the team ready to redeem themselves after getting bounced in their first playoff game last year against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Cowboys struggled in the first half of the season. However, Jason Garrett’s squad has turned it on on the defensive side of the football. Dallas was able to make their way by the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card round. They will be out to prove they belong in this matchup with the very formidable Rams.

Ahead of this playoff matchup, the Rams are among the teams with the best odds to go the distance at 4/1 while the Cowboys are a team with the longest odds to win the Super Bowl at 18/1.
