Ravens QB Lamar Jackson makes Madden history with fastest QB speed rating ever
It has been nothing short of a remarkable 2019 season for Baltimore Ravens second-year quarterback Lamar Jackson.
He has continued to be a significant factor on the field with his legs producing at a historic pace. All of that has earned him the unique honor of Madden, making him the fastest quarterback in game history, according to Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

Jackson, the Baltimore Ravens’ electric dual-threat star and NFL Most Valuable Player front-runner, will achieve a 96-speed rating when Madden updates its player ratings later this week. That’s the fastest ever for a quarterback.
The 22-year-old has proven to have remarkably quick speed. This has made it an absolute headache for opposing defenses to game plan against him. That was certainly the case for the Los Angeles Rams on Monday night. Jackson torched them for 95 rushing yards, while he was methodical with his arm. He completed 15 of 20 passes for 169 yards with five touchdown passes.

Jackson has continued to draw comparisons to former Pro Bowl quarterback Michael Vick, but he has proven to be a more effective passer earlier in his career. There are some similarities with their elusiveness in running the ball, but the Louisville product has taken that to the next level.
Jackson has made the Ravens into a powerhouse in the NFL, with many labeling them as potential Super Bowl favorites. He has also become the clear-cut frontrunner to win the MVP award, which if he continues on this torrid pace, it will be hard to deny him that honor.
