The Seattle Seahawks have been one of the best teams in the NFL during the first half of the 2020 campaign. Russell Wilson has taken his game to another level as he’s proven his worth every dime the team has committed to him.

Along with guiding his team to a 5-1 start to the season, Wilson has been getting a lot of NFL MVP buzz. Although the Seahawks are coming off an overtime loss to the division rival Arizona Cardinals, Wilson remains the favorite to be named NFL MVP, via Pro Football Talk.

According to PointsBet, the NBC Sports official betting partner, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson continues to represent the best bet for MVP, at -110.

Despite the fact Wilson is having one of the best seasons of his career with the Seahawks playing at an extremely high level, the veteran quarterback will have his fair share of competition to win his first MVP award. Quite a few notable names are in the running along with Wilson for the league’s top individual award.

Next on the list is Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers at +400, with Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes at +450. No other players have odds better than +1200.

At +1200 is Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson and Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray are at +2000.

Four players sit at +3300: Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill, and Titans running back Derrick Henry.

Only time will tell whether the Seahawks can continue playing at an elite level with Wilson putting on a show on a weekly basis. The loss to the Cardinals was a disappointment for Seattle, but many still believe in this team and their chances to win it all this season.
