Seahawks Visit Niners in Big NFC West Showdown

NFL: Arizona Cardinals at Seattle SeahawksThe Seattle Seahawks will take their 11-1 record on the road to face the 8-4 San Francisco 49ers in a big NFC West game on Sunday. The game may not be that big for Seattle, they just about have the top spot in the NFC in the bag after their win over the New Orleans Saints on Monday. But the Niners need to win to stay ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys for the second NFC Wild Card. A win could also be big for them since the Carolina Panthers are playing the Saints this week and the Niners trail those two teams by only one game for the top wild card spot. The Arizona Cardinals are also nipping at the heels of the Niners at 7-5. The Cards will host the last place St. Louis Rams on Sunday.

Top Bet has the odds on the two NFC West games on Sunday:

St Louis at Arizona– The Rams are +5 -110 and the Cardinals are -5 +110 ATS. Moneyline has St. Louis +185 and Arizona -225. Over/Under is 42 with over and under both -110. The Cardinals don’t look very good on paper and Carson Palmer is certainly not the quarterback every team would love to have, but somehow they keep on hanging in there. They will get it done again today in a close game. Take the rams +5, The Cards -225 and the under -110.

Seattle at San Francisco– If there is a place that the Seahawks could lose, it would be here. They are nearly unbeatable at home, but sometimes on the road on natural grass, they can be had. The Niners are in playoff mode as they cannot afford to lose too many games from here on out. Opposing defenses seem to be on to Colin Kaepernick a bit more than last year when he burst onto the scene and led the Niners to the Super Bowl and nearly won it. Seattle is +2.5 -110 and the Niners are -2.5 -110 ATS. Moneyline is Seattle +110 and the 49ers -130. Over/Under is 41.5 with both -110. It is very tempting to take a team that is 11-1 getting 3.5 points. This team has their record for a reason. They are not only unbeatable at home but they have won all but one road game.

But the Niners are a desperate teams and still a very good one. Many of the losses they have had have been to other very good teams such as the Panthers and Saints, both very close. But they were blown out by the Seahawks in Seattle 29-3 earlier this year. Seattle just got done mopping the field with the Saints 34-7. We like the Seahawks +110 and the over -110.
