Star CB Jalen Ramsey set to make Dolphins debut
The Miami Dolphins will get a significant boost with star cornerback Jalen Ramsey reportedly set to return on Sunday against the New England Patriots.
Ramsey has spent the last three months recovering from knee surgery. The Pro Bowler has disputed the notion on social media, but he is trending toward finally making his Dolphins debut.
Head coach Mike McDaniel did all but confirm Ramsey and fellow star cornerback Xavien Howard’s return in Week 8.

“We’ve love to have them both,” McDaniel said of Howard and Ramsey via The Palm Post. “I’m prepared for both scenarios. I really don’t have a clue if they’re going to play. They won’t make an irresponsible decision.”
Howard missed last week’s contest due to a groin injury. The Dolphins have moved patiently with Ramsey’s recovery process since he underwent meniscus surgery in late July.
Miami is hoping the pairing of Ramsey and Howard could anchor their secondary to help their push toward the playoffs.
The Dolphins acquired Ramsey via an offseason trade with the Los Angeles Rams. He reworked his contract with Miami, where he will make $55 million over the next three seasons.
