Matthews, 33, had been with his original Green Bay Packers team throughout the first 10 years of his career. A six-time Pro Bowler, Matthews’ production has been on the decline for some time now.
In fact, he’s recorded a grand total of 11 sacks over the past two seasons. That comes on the heels of Matthews tallying double-digit sacks four times over the first eight years of his career.
Though, this does give Los Angeles more edge pass rush depth to go with the recently re-signed Dante Fowler Jr.
