Clay Matthews posts new profile picture with him in Rams jersey
Heading into the free agency period, the Los Angeles Rams have a few notable holes to fill on the roster.
The Rams were able to accomplish that by signing former Pro Bowl outside linebacker Clay Matthews to a two-year deal, according to ESPN.

Matthews spent his first 10 years in the league with the Green Bay Packers. There, he established himself as one of the top pass rushers in the league. However, injuries over the years have impacted his play on the field as his numbers have continued to drop.
The 32-year-old was able to play the entire 2018 season. Although, he did produce at a level lower than expected. He notched just 3.5 sacks with 43 total tackles and a forced fumble. Matthews Jr. is the Packers’ all-time leader with 84.5 career sacks.
He has a chance to make a major impact with Los Angeles with his pass-rushing ability that the team is looking to surround two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald with on the defensive front.

The Rams have added a few other notable pieces to the puzzle this offseason with the signing of Pro Bowl safety Eric Weddle, quarterback Blake Bortles, and brought back outside linebacker Dante Fowler Jr. Los Angeles will likely look to address depth on their defensive and offensive line in free agency and the upcoming draft.
