MLB AL Championship Odds

The future odds have started to get shaking up now that we are a few games into the season.

There have been some significant jumps since opening day, particularly in the American League, where some distinct favorites are starting to emerge.

Teams like the Detroit Tigers, Boston Red Sox and Kansas City Royals sit at the top of the odds to win the AL Championship. Those three teams are the only teams in the AL of have lost three or less games at this point.

The team with the best record, the Tigers, do not sit atop the odds, however, as the fandom that is the Boston Red Sox has helped them rise to the top with 11/2 odds to win the AL pennant. The Tigers sit behind them with 6/1 odds. The Royals also have 6/1 odds.

The Seattle Mariners is currently 3-7 but they sit near the top of the odds in fourth with 13/2 odds. The Mariners have been having pitching woes, though they were expected to have the best pitching circle in the MLB at the start of the season. The books still have confidence this team will shake it off, though.
