Jeff Teague Dodges Suspension For LeBron Shove
The Atlanta Hawks just caught what will likely be their only lucky break in their semi-finals series against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Already down 3-0, look for the Cavs to put them out of their misery on Sunday afternoon.
But there is some good news. Even though the Hawks are going to get swept, at least they won’t have to do it without the services of Jeff Teague.
Teague was hit with a flagrant foul after intentionally shoving LeBron James into the stands. The incident, which happened with under a minute left in the game, was unquestionably blatant and resulted in a scary moment for Cleveland fans.
Bad look for Jeff Teague. https://t.co/o0YjAlZUbf

Actually, it was scary for a few Hawks fans as well.
“I was actually running into two kids and a lady on the baseline,” James said. “Hopefully I didn’t hurt them. I scraped my leg a little bit, but I’m fine. I’m OK. I went back and checked on them to make sure they were OK because I couldn’t really stop. And they were fine once I found out there were fine and I was able to walk off the court. At the end of the day, [the push] doesn’t matter.”
Teague was initially hit with Flagrant 1 for the incident, but the Cavaliers had been expecting it to be upgraded to a Flagrant 2. Had the foul been upgraded, it would have resulted in a one-game suspension.
