Steelers DE Cameron Heyward Out For Season
In an Instagram post, Pittsburgh Steelers star defensive end Cam Heyward has announced that his season is over due to a pectoral injury suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys.
He made it clear that he still intends to play a big role within his locker room but that he won’t be playing again in 2016.

Heyward, a sixth-year pro out of Ohio State, was considered one of the linchpins of a stout Steelers front seven.
A reliable player, Heyward had never missed a game in his career until the unfortunate ankle injury suffered in Week 5 kept him out of the following two contests.
With Heyward now out of commission until next year, the next man up is former Indianapolis Colts seventh round draft pick Ricardo Mathews, a seventh-year pro out of Cincinnati who has been a bit of a journeyman in the league.
We expect the Steelers to search for help in the free agency pool as they attempt to shore up a thinning defensive line.
