Not how we would have chosen to write the script, but here we are.

The Cleveland Indians are coming home down 0-2 in a best of five series. Call it home cooking if you want, but they need something that can stir their offense from a deep, deep slumber. Through 18 innings of the series they have six hits.
Marwin Gonzalez delivered a two-run double off Adam Miller in the sixth inning to lift Houston to a 2-1 lead over the Indians. Miller had just entered the game for Carlos Carrasco who finished with a line score of 5.1 innings, six hits and two runs. Alex Bregman’s solo homer in the seventh added an insurance run for a 3-1 lead.
Francisco Lindor’s solo home run in the top of the third inning gave the Indians a 1-0 lead, their first lead of the series.
Teams have come back from being down 0-2 in a best of five series. The Yankees did it last year against the Indians. If the Tribe doesn’t brew up that kind of rally starting on Monday, their season will end considerably sooner than they were hoping for.
Game three is Monday in Cleveland. Mike Clevinger will take the mound in what will be the biggest start of his young career.
