Cavs forward Kevin Love could miss ‘more than a month’ with injured toe
The Cleveland Cavaliers are off to a slow start to the 2018-19 season, dropping their first six games that led to the firing of head coach Tyronn Lue.
Things may go further south for the Cavaliers with All-Star forward Kevin Love out with a foot injury that may lead to him missing up to a month, according to Adrian Wojnarowski and Brian Windhorst of ESPN.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are preparing for the strong possibility that five-time All-Star forward Kevin Love could miss more than a month with an injured toe on his left foot, league sources told ESPN.
Love had been attempting to play through the injury in the first four games of the season. He had been averaging a double-double with 19.0 points and 13.5 rebounds. These health issues had become evident with shooting touch hitting just 32.3 percent from the floor and 29.2 percent from distance and had missed the last two games before this decision.

The _-year-old has had trouble shedding the injury bug over the last few years as he has missed more than 20 games in each of the last two years for a total of 55 games over that stretch. The Cavaliers inked Love to a four-year, $120 million extension
The loss of Love leaves Cleveland without their top scoring option this season. It will require the rest of their roster to pick it up in his absence offensively. Veteran guard Jordan Clarkson has been their second-leading scorer off the bench with 16.2 points per game. Meanwhile, George Hill, Rodney Hood and Cedi Osman are all averaging 12.0 or more points.
