Bucks offer Pelicans ‘any players’ other than Giannis Antetounmpo for Anthony Davis
In the last several days, there has been a sudden uptick in the rumor mill around New Orleans Pelicans star forward Anthony Davis. Surprisingly, the Milwaukee Bucks have entered the fray.
This has especially picked up after it was recently revealed that Davis has made a trade request less than two weeks prior to the trade deadline. According to Gery Woelfel of the WSSP, the Milwaukee Bucks have entered the picture as a potential landing spot with them being willing to trade anybody but All-Star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Bucks have entered the Anthony Davis sweepstakes and, according to sources have offered the Pelicans any players on their roster not named Giannis.
This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that the Bucks are unwilling to move Antetokounmpo. He has quickly become one of the top players in the league and is the driving force of their team on the court. Milwaukee’s hope in that scenario is that they could build around both Antetokounmpo and Davis as their core group.

The Bucks could offer up some intriguing players with Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Thon Maker, and Malcolm Brogdon. They will also likely have to package a couple first-round draft picks in order to make a deal work.
That said, there is chatter that the 25-year-old is eyeing joining the Los Angeles Lakers, who have an intriguing group of young talent that they can offer the Pelicans if they are willing to go down that route. Ultimately, it is still a fluid situation in New Orleans where much could still change over the next several days.
