A.J. Green injures ankle in Bengals first practice
The Cincinnati Bengals are left holding their breath on Saturday after star wide receiver A.J. Green was carted off the field with a potentially serious injury to his left foot.

According to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer, Green was helped off the field after suffering the injury. Shortly after being checked out by trainers on the bench, trainers called out for the cart and had his foot elevated with his shoe off and Green visibly emotional.

Green has been the centerpiece of Cincinnati’s passing attack for years, though injuries limited him to just nine games last season with 46 receptions, 694 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
