NBA MVP favorite Nikola Jokic intends to play entire career with Nuggets
The Denver Nuggets are a team with a potentially bright future after finally putting together a stacked roster led by NBA MVP favorite and face of the franchise, Nikola Jokic.
The Nuggets could be headed for a first-round exit with the Blazers proving to be a considerable force. However, Denver doesn’t have to worry about the future of Jokic. The MVP frontrunner fully intends to stay with the franchise for the rest of his NBA career.

Despite Jokic’s intentions to stay with the Nuggets, anything can happen in the NBA. Superstars like Jokic can have a change of heart at any moment during their career. However, it is a vote of confidence for the up-and-coming franchise to have the versatile forward want to remain in Denver on a long-term basis.

As well as that, the team has Jamal Murray under contract through the 2024-2025 NBA season. Michael Porter Jr. and Aaron Gordon, however, are only under contract for one more season, meaning the team’s window of opportunity might be closing after the 2021-22 campaign.
One thing the team will have going for it is the fact that Jokic intends to stay and his pass-first style of play could potentially intrigue other stars around the league to join him in Denver. It remains to be seen if that’s the case, but the Nuggets are in a good position regardless moving forward.
