Eli Manning accepts new role with New York Giants
Eli Manning wrapped up his first year in retirement after stepping away following the 2019 season. Manning has remained involved with the game in various capacities, which has found him back with the New York Giants.
According to Jordan Raanan of ESPN, the two-time Super Bowl champion has rejoined the organization in business operations and fan engagement dual role.

Eli Manning is also expected to develop original content, including a lifestyle series that will debut in the fall.
“I’m willing to do anything. But I’m focused on the business side with corporate partners and on community relations, which was always so important to me while I was playing here and is something I’ve placed a high priority on throughout my life,” Manning said. “I’m looking forward to seeing where I can make the most impact in helping the Giants achieve their business and community goals.”

Since choosing to retire, Manning has become more accessible for fans through his social media accounts. His experience in that realm will help him excel in his new position with the Giants.
Despite his struggles in various stretches in his NFL career, Manning has firmly endeared himself as a fan-favorite due to his personality and overall success behind two Super Bowl wins.
The Giants will also retire his No. 10 jersey during a special halftime ceremony during the Week 3 home game against the Atlanta Falcons. With Manning picking up a role within the organization, expect him to remain involved for years to come ahead.
