Veteran WR Stefon Diggs uncertain about future with Bills
As the Buffalo Bills head into the offseason, there is once again uncertainty around star wide receiver Stefon Diggs.
The Pro Bowl wideout voiced a lack of optimism concerning his future in Buffalo.
“I feel like I take it day by day,” he said via ESPN. “Obviously, there’s a lot of changes going on, a lot of things going on. I can’t really put the carriage before the horse, you know what I’m saying? But I got a great offseason in front of me to put a lot of work in and kind of build around what we got and what we’re doing.
“I can’t tell you what the future holds, but I’m still being me.”
It marks the first time that Diggs has spoken to reporters in quite some time as he hadn’t since before the Bills’ wild-card win against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Due to him regularly declining to speak with the media after games, it has led to growing chatter about his future in Buffalo.
His lack of commitment to the franchise is puzzling given that he is heading into the first year of his four-year, $96 million extension that he signed last April.

Over the last couple of years, Diggs has left the door open concerning a possible desire to play elsewhere. However, he hasn’t pushed for the Bills to move in another direction with him.
Instead, it’s been the Bills’ playoff shortcomings that have led to discussion that may want to play with another team. Time will tell what unfolds, but for now, Digs wants to stay.
