Micah Parsons Not Giving Up On Super Bowl After Two Defeats
Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons says the team will continue to grow in the face of two consecutive home defeats.
The Cowboys (1 – 2) have looked vulnerable defensively in their last two outings. Despite there only being a 3 point deficit in the Ravens loss, Dallas was run ragged.
The Ravens generated 247 yards rushing against the Cowboys, the most Dallas has conceded since 2020. It’s not just that their opponents have been great either, Micah Parsons and co. must also answer for poor play.

158 of the Ravens’ yards were as a result of the Cowboy’s 17 missed tackles. That’s more tackles than they missed in the previous two games combined.
“I would say the start of the season has been extremely humbling,” said Micah Parsons.
“We fell short after not starting great, didn’t put ourselves in the best situations. I would still say I’m still positive because everyone is still coming in, [Mike Zimmer], we’re going to get better. We’re going to keep learning. We’re going to keep growing.”
Dallas has been particularly vulnerable to the run this season. In fact, opponents have called running plays against them on 51% of all plays, an NFL high. Designed run plays have been successful against the Cowboys 54.4% of the time.
The Ravens also had success in setting traps for Parsons, so it’s no wonder he’s feeling particularly humbled. Nonetheless, he sounded a rallying cry for his teammates.

“The start of the season hasn’t been great, but like I said, it’s been humbling. This is our test because without a test, there is no testimony,” Parsons said. “I still have dreams of being a Super Bowl champion. I still have dreams and aspirations of going as far as I can into this year and obviously reaching that Super Bowl.”
