Bronny James tuning out trade speculation about LeBron James
The Los Angeles Lakers are a drama-filled organization once again, and much of it stems from the recent comments made by LeBron James’ agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, regarding his client’s mindset after opting into the final year of his contract with the team.
“We understand the difficulty in winning now while preparing for the future,” Paul told ESPN. “We do want to evaluate what’s best for LeBron at this stage in his life and career. He wants to make every season he has left count, and the Lakers understand that, are supportive and want what’s best for him.”
Although James is no stranger to drama and stirring the pot while trying to control the narrative during his NBA career, one player on his team who is directly impacted is his son, Bronny James.

Even though many people would be overwhelmed in Bronny James’ situation, he has learned to ignore the noise via ESPN.
“Actually, one of my friends called me, talking about where [I was going to play next season], what I was going to do because they saw my dad [in the news],” Bronny said Wednesday. “I didn’t see it. He called me. I was like, ‘Yeah, I have no idea what you’re talking about.’ … I don’t really pay attention to that stuff. There’s a lot of stuff going around that I don’t pay attention to.”
There appears to be a possibility that LeBron James could request a trade, as he is one of two players in the league, alongside Bradley Beal, who has a no-trade clause in their contract. If he genuinely wants to contend in what will likely be his last NBA season, a trade might be the only way that happens.
