NBA Central Odds and Picks for Friday
The NBA Central is a tight race between the Indiana Pacers and the Chicago Bulls. Right now only are only two games apart with the Pacers at 33-21 and the Bulls at 31-23. The Milwaukee Bucks are 6.5 games back in third place and eighth in the conference, the final playoff spot.
At the trade deadline, the Bucks made a deal with the Orlando Magic and picked up shooting guard J.J. Redick to help them down the stretch. Redick has been having his best season so far.
TopBet had odds on tonight’s games involving the Central Division teams:
Detroit Pistons at Indiana Pacers– Detroit is 22-35 in fourth place in the Central and 5.5 games out of the last playoff spot. It is not likely they will get anywhere close to making a push for the playoffs but it is still too early to give up. Winning on the road at Indiana would be a good place to start making a playoff run. The Pacers are really tough at home this year at 22-5. Topbet has this game Detroit +9.5 -110 and Indiana -9.5 -110 ATS. Moneyline has Detroit +425 and Indiana -550. Over/under is 188 with both -110. We are going to go with the Pistons +9.5-110, Indiana -550 and the under -110.
Chicago Bulls at Charlotte Bobcats– Michael Jordan‘s old team comes to town to face the team he owns. The Bulls are coming in off an awful performance last night against the Miami Heat. Look for them to be angry tonight. This should be bad news for the Bobcats. TopBet has Chicago -7 -110 and Charlotte +7 -110 ATS. Moneyline is Bulls -300 and Bobcats +250. Over/Under is 185. We like the Bulls -7 and the under -110.
The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Bucks have tonight off. Her are some futures odds on Central teams on TopBet.
To win the NBA Championship:
Chicago +1000– A $100.00 bet would win you $1,000.00 if the Bulls go all the way.
Indiana +2000- A bit strange that the Pacers would win you double what the Bulls would considering they are two games ahead of them right now.
Milwaukee +12000– That would never happen, but might be worth putting a few “Bucks” on just in case.
Detroit +40000– That would just be throwing money away.
Cleveland +100000. Another bet where you’d just be handing over your money.
