Big 12 Tournament Odds

The Big 12 tournament odds tell the story of Kansas as king at a glance, but there is another team that is looking to take the Big 12 title for the third time in three years.

While it is true that Kansas can lay claim to the best Big 12 season win-loss record for 12 consecutive years, it is Iowa State that will be looking to win its third straight Big 12 tournament. There is still more to the Big 12 story, though.

Iowa State have the fourth best odds at winning their division championship. Defensively, they fail to even compare to the team that was in this spot over the last two years. However, they are still one of the best defenses in the nation, ranking second, so should not be counted out.

Between Iowa and Kansas, who sits at the top of the odds, is Oklahoma and West Virginia tied for second. Both teams that have flown under the radar this season, but could easily upset the favorites.

The favorites, Kansas, closed the season on a 9-2 ATS. They failed to cover in two of their last three games causing their ATS record to fall from matching their 11-0 straight up run that closed the season. Most bettors expect the Jayhawks to walk into the finals, however, underdogs such as Baylor or Texas could throw a wrench in the expected.
