Full 24 Hours of Le Mans Odds Released
The odds on all four classes in the 24 Hours of Le Mans have been released and there were no surprises after qualifying. The No. 7 Toyota Gazoo Racing TS-050 is the slight favorite. The No. 8 Toyota is second in the odds. But both are 2-to-1 or less, making it low-paying to bet them both. The No. 9 Toyota isn’t given much of a shot and is 8-to-1. That puts it behind both Porsches. While the No. 4 Bykolles is technically an LMP1 car, the only way it wins is if the five factory cars break down.
No surprise to see the No. 26 G-Drive Racing entry as the favorite in LMP2 after grabbing the pole for its class. But anything can happen in the largest class in the race and the top five entries are 10-to-1 or less. The No. 43 Keating Motorsports entry from the United States is a huge long shot at odds of 100 to 150 to 1.
Things really tighten up in LMGTE Pro, where Aston Martin and Porsche are the favorites. But don’t overlook either of the two Corvette Racing entries. Both the No. 63 and No. 64 Corvettes can be found at 8-to-1. You can easily bet both and still get a return of 9-to-2 or 5-to-1 depending where you bet.
But the most wide-open class is going to be LMGTE Am. While Larbre Competition has the class pole they aren’t favored universally. The No. 98 Aston Martin V8 Vantage is favored at several of the sportsbooks who are taking bets on all four classes. While I liked Larbre before they grabbed the pole, I was counting on odds higher than 11-to-2. But that’s still not all that bad.
In LMP1, Toyota is going to be tough to beat. But as a price play, I’ll grab the No. 2 Porsche at 9-to-2. I liked the G-Drive car in the article I wrote on Le Mans a few days ago. While I was counting on a better price here, as well, will still take them at 5-to-1.
In LMGTE Pro, I’m obviously biased towards the Corvette Racing team and will take both cars, putting a little more on the No. 64 car. While in LMGTE Am, I’ll stick with my original call of Larbre and their Corvette C7.R and take the odds.
