It Shouldn’t Be A Surprise But The Pats Are On Top

The New England Patriots are the -150 favorites to win the AFC East and with good reason, the Patriots have been dominated the AFC East for almost 14 consecutive years and have been dominating this season as well.

Since the Bill Belihick-Tom Brady era began 14 years ago, the Pats ave won the AFC East 12 times. They are the defending Super Bowl champions and despite Brady being suspended for four games they continue to be favorites. The Miami Dolphins have a +400 moneyline. The Buffalo Bills have a +425 moneyline. The New York Jets have a +750 moneyline.

This year the Pats seemed vulnerable. In addition to Brady’s suspension, Derrelle Revis and Brandon Browner have both left the team. However, one removed suspension later and at the near-mid point of the season the Pats are firmly on top of not just their division but at the top of the NFL, tied with the Packers in the Future odds.

However, at this moment it seems like that the Pats started the season rocky but are firmly set where they have been for the last decade.
