Pittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner continues to fill in quite well for holdout Le’Veon Bell. On Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, he made both franchise and NFL history.
In the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the division-rival Ravens, he caught a touchdown pass. It was the first touchdown reception of Conner’s young career, but the 10th of his sophomore season.
No Steeler has ever reached 10 touchdowns this quickly.

Conner has gotten the ball 108 times for 689 yards over the past four games, who has continued to impress in Bell’s absence and said after the game that he relishes the heavy workload.
“I”m built for it,” Conner told reporters after the 23-16 victory.
The former University of Pittsburgh standout is the first player in league history to produce four games of 100-plus rushing yards, 50-plus receiving yards and a touchdown in a single season, according to NFL stats.

Conner is on pace for 2,170 yards over 16 games, just short of Bell’s best full-season performance of 2,215 yards in 2014. In 2016, Bell paced for a historic 2,512 yards but played 12 games.
