Johnny Manziel Again Named Starter in Cleveland
With Josh McCown out for the season and Austin Davis being terrible, the Cleveland Browns simply no longer have the luxury of punishing former first round draft pick Johnny Manziel for his ongoing acts of idiocy. The 10-2 Browns are out of options at the quarterback position and have four weeks to assess the talent, or lack thereof, on their roster.
Johnny Manziel will return as starting QB for the Cleveland Browns after two-game benching for off-field missteps, sources told @mortreport.

According to ESPN’s sources, Manziel has been named the starter, presumably for the remainder of the season, assuming he doesn’t do something to jeopardize his status or embarrass the franchise between now and Sunday. Of course, given what we know about Manziel, that’s a very big assumption.
Hearing #Browns will give next 4 games to QB Johnny Manziel. Pettine will announce Monday. Nothing official. We'll see.

In a stark departure from his now infamous bye-week antics in College Station, on Monday Manziel took to Instagram to show a decidedly different side of himself. Kicking it at home with the dog on his day off is definitely a better choice than getting day drunk in public. Baby steps!
Hopefully we don’t find these two passed out on an inflatable swan floating in Lake Erie tomorrow morning.
