Lamar Jackson breaks Michael Vick rushing record
For the seventh game in a row, Lamar Jackson rushed for at least 60 yards on Sunday. That mark set NFL history as Jackson raced past Michael Vick in the record books.

Lamar Jackson hit this mark on Sunday on another ankle-breaking run that went 39 yards as the Baltimore Ravens dominated the Houston Texans. This run put him at 85 yards in the game, on just eight carries.

He’s now at 780 yards on the season (and counting), and will almost certainly break the all-time record for most rushing yards in a single season by a quarterback — 1,039 yards, also set by Michael Vick in 2006.
Not counting any yards Lamar Jackson may add to his total Sunday, the second-year phenom is on pace to finish with 1,248 rushing yards in 2019.
