Likely First Round Games And NHL Stanley Cup Odds

The end of the NHL regular season is nigh and the playoff pictures is beginning to become more clear.  While some things could change, do not expect too much movement caused by the 10 remaining games of the season being played today.

The playoffs will begin on Wednesday, April  16.  You will have a lot of viewing options as NBC, NBC Sport Network and CNBC will be airing the playoffs.  You also have the option of live streaming with NHL GameCenter Live but you’ll have to pay a subscription.

Here is what the first round of the playoffs currently look like with 10 games left to play:

Out of those first round games, the biggest toss up may be the match between the Philadelphia Flyers and the New York Rangers.  It is the only match up that features teams who have split games in the season series.  Add on the fact that these two teams are embroiled in one of the most intense rivalries in the NHL and this is going to be an incredible match up.

Also with the end of the season means that betting on the Stanley Cup Championship futures will soon close.  So if you plan on getting in on the big money that can be made by those who can practically see the future, then it is best you get your money in now rather than later as the time may pass you by.

More practical, would be to use the future odds to help guide your betting on individual games.  Either way here are the future odds, and what they will likely close at, for the Stanley Cup winners:

St. Louis Blues
