NFL MVP Odds: Falcons QB Matt Ryan, WR Julio Jones Crack Top 10

After missing the NFL playoffs two years in a row following an appearance in the NFC Championship Game, the Atlanta Falcons appear to finally be back on the track. Quarterback Matt Ryan has his team playing the exceptionally well with the gunslinger leading the Falcons to four straight wins to start the 2015 NFL campaign.

One of the main reasons for Ryan’s success has been the incredible play of veteran wide receiver Julio Jones. The two-time Pro Bowler is starting to live up to the hype of being arguably one of the best wideouts in the NFL today.

Jones has played on another level this season and as a result is getting some buzz for potentially being in the running to win NFL MVP at season’s end. Ryan is also in the conversation rounding out the top 10 in odds to win the regular-season award, according to Bovada:

As expected, Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady led the way in the running for MVP, but Jones could continue to make a strong case if able to stay healthy while keeping up his production on the football field.

In four games this season for the Falcons, Jones has caught a total of 38 passes for 478 yards and four touchdowns. Jones is currently tied with Antonio Brown of the Pittsburgh Steelers in receiving yards and is tied for second in receiving touchdowns with four other players.
