Aaron Rodgers admits future with Packers is uncertain after NFC Championship loss
The Green Bay Packers are coming off a loss to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFC Championship Game and things might get complicated in the aftermath.
Superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers had one of his best seasons with the Packers and could be named NFL MVP, but he admitted after the loss on Sunday that his future with the franchise is in doubt moving forward, via Pro Football Talk.

“A lot of guys futures that are, you know, uncertain, myself included,†Rodgers said. “That’s what’s sad about it most. . . . Just the uncertainties is tough and the finality of it all.â€
Rodgers next was asked how the team will take the next step.
“I don’t know, I really don’t,†he said. “There’s a lot of unknowns going into this offseason now. And I’m going to have to take some time away for sure and clear my head and just kind of see what’s going on with everything. But it’s pretty tough right now, especially thinking about the guys that may or may not be here next year. There’s always change. That’s the only constant in this business.â€

Clearly, Rodgers is still at the top of his game with plenty of football left in him. If Brady advancing to the Super Bowl at 43 is any indication, Rodgers can start fresh elsewhere with a chance to win another ring and play for a few more years at an elite level.
During the 2020 campaign, Rodgers threw for 4,299 yards, 48 touchdowns and only five interceptions.
