Antonio Brown agrees to one-year deal with Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made some bold moves before the 2020 NFL season showing their Super Bowl aspirations. The team signed Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. Now, they’ll be bringing in another former New England Patriots star in Antonio Brown.
According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Brown and the Buccaneers have agreed to a one-year deal.

Antonio Brown and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have reached an agreement on a one-year deal, sources told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
While contract language still has to be finalized and Brown has to pass COVID-19 protocols before he can join the team, Brown is likely to make his Bucs’ debut in Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints.
Brown has agreed to sign with the team. However, he won’t be eligible to get back on the field for Tampa Bay until after Week 8.
In July, the NFL announced it had suspended Brown for eight games without pay because of multiple violations of the NFL’s personal conduct policy. Brown is eligible to come off the suspension after Week 8.

With the addition of Brown to a receiving corps that already showcases Gronkowski, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, the Buccaneers will have already the best set of receivers in the NFL this season.
Despite the obvious talent on offense, Brown is still a wild card in terms of what he’ll bringing to the table in Tampa Bay. Brown didn’t play a single game for the then-Oakland Raiders. As well as that, he played only one game for New England before being released.
Brown has consistently been an off-the-field problem for the last three teams he’s played on. Although Brady seems to like him and that was enough for the team to be convinced to sign him.
