Broncos coach Vance Joseph addresses talk about his job security
The Denver Broncos have seemingly fallen out of the playoff picture after back-to-back losses that have all but erased their chances.
This has also brought into question head coach Vance Joseph’s job security after this season. It is a subject that Joseph made clear on Sunday that he has no interest in discussing at any length, according to Jeff Legwold of ESPN.

“I’ve spoken to John, that’s a private conversation, obviously,” Joseph said. “To be honest, that’s the least of my worries. … There’s been worse things written about me, I’m assuming, but that’s not my concern. My concern is the football team, these coaches. … What’s written, what’s being said, I can’t worry about that. That’s nonsense, to me it is, it really is.”
This has turned out to be another disappointing campaign for the Broncos as the first year under Joseph saw them finish with a 5-11 mark. In total, Denver has an 11-19 record under his helm over nearly the last two campaigns. This marks the first back-to-back losing seasons for the franchise 1971-72 seasons.

The Broncos had their chances to move position themselves in the playoff picture but have fallen short against the San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns. This has seen them fall to 11th in the conference sitting two games clear of the final wildcard spot.
If the Broncos were to once again fall short of the playoffs, it will stir up the conversation for an upheaval of change for the franchise. In the meantime, it is a conversation that will be tabled for the offseason.
