Giants – Cowboys Preview
The last time that the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys played each other, the Cowboys were able to pull out a win late in the fourth quarter by ten points. As the teams get ready to face each other again, it is clear just how big of a match up this game will be. The Cowboys are fighting for a chance to prove that they deserve the top spot in the NFC East over Philadelphia and the Giants are fighting to prove that they have some fight in them and aren’t out yet. The Giants are hosting the Cowboys at 8:30 p.m. at Met Life Stadium.
The Cowboys are fresh off of a win in London and a bye week, rested and injuries recovered. Following the Giants game, the Cowboys face off with the Eagles twice in a span of three games. Beating both the Giants and the Eagles are going to give the Cowboys the lead in the NFC East. Dallas has won every game they have played on the road this season.
The Giants had an almost win against the San Francisco 49ers but had a lot of errors and miscommunication that caused them to lose. Eli Manning threw five interceptions against San Francisco and leading up to that game, Manning had thrown six total the entire season. The offensive line has to get better at giving Manning time to develop plays so that way the Giants will stand a chance to win against the Cowboys.
In the first match up between the Giants and Cowboys earlier this season, the Giants had two fumbles which cost the Giants the win. The Giants now are determined to make sure those errors don’t happen and have the passion to work as a team to pull out a win.
On paper, the Cowboys look like they are going to have an easy win against the Giants, but that is only on paper. Come game time, anything could happen and the Cowboys know that the pressure is on.
