Jaguars set to be without Trevor Lawrence for second straight game
As the Jacksonville Jaguars look to get back on track to snap their three-game skid in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions, the team will be without starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence for a second straight week.

Lawrence is nursing a left shoulder injury that head coach Doug Pederson is hopeful he can return after the Week 12 bye.
“You guys know how I am with injuries,” Pederson said via ESPN. “We don’t want to put a player out there that’s not 100 percent, so we’re going to rest him one more week.”
The Jaguars are set to turn to Mac Jones to start in Lawrence’s absence again. Jones is coming off a rough performance in the 12-7 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, where he completed 14 of 22 passes for 111 yards with two interceptions and no touchdowns.
“I need to get back to playing fundamental quarterback,” Jones said Wednesday. “And that’s just the simple things: Going through my reads, taking what the defense gives, and leading the team down the field. So, I’m trying to focus on the now and the present, and that’s the best way to do it.”
In the loss, Jacksonville had only 143 total offensive yards with 10 first downs with 3.3 yards per play and three turnovers.
It has been a struggle for the Jaguars to find any consistency even with Lawrence under center. Jacksonville sits in the disappointing position of holding a 2-8 record that has the team in last place in the AFC South.
