Kareem Hunt has multiple NFL teams interested in signing him
In the last several weeks, there have been questions surrounding the NFL future of Pro Bowl running back Kareem Hunt.
Much of which has centered around his off-the-field issues with his involvement into a questionable situation where he pushed and kicked a woman. With several weeks having passed, there has been some building interest from several teams toward bringing him back into the league, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Multiple teams have expressed interest in Hunt, and it now appears the former Chiefs running back will have a job “sooner rather than later,” one league source told ESPN.
Much of this interest is centered around his unique ability on the field as an elite talent as a runner. He had put that on full display in his rookie campaign by leading the league in rushing that helped him earn the Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
Hunt had been at a similar pace this year prior to the video surfacing of the event in question. This should eventually lead to chatter picking up in the offseason where he will have several suitors for his services.
At the same token, there will be plenty of strict zero-tolerance with his actions off the field. If any similar situation were to arise moving forward, it could end his NFL career altogether. This is something that only time will tell the amount of interest he will draw around the league along with the length of contracts that he will get from a team that is likely to be a short-term deal.
