NFL power rankings, Week 11: Dolphins move up in AFC

We look at the NFL power rankings for the AFC edition, and the Kansas City Chiefs find themselves on top for the first time this year.

16. Houston Texans (LW: 16)

The Texans are starting to hone in on the topic in the 2023 NFL Draft. It feels inevitable.

15. Las Vegas Raiders (LW: 14)

Remember when the AFC West was going to be the best division we’ve ever seen? Yeah, the Raiders didn’t get that memo, and have turned in a horrific season.

14. Denver Broncos (LW: 13)

Just look above and swap Broncos for Raiders.

13. Pittsburgh Steelers (LW: 15)

Pittsburgh came off its bye, got T.J. Watt back on defense, and beat the New Orleans Saints. Well done by Mike Tomlin and Co.

12. Jacksonville Jaguars (LW: 11)

Jacksonville held tough to a degree against the Chiefs at Arrowhead, but were overwhelmed by Patrick Mahomes.

11. Indianapolis Colts (LW: 12)

Somehow, the Colts are only one game under .500. There should be an investigation to figure this out.

10. Cleveland Browns (LW: 10)

The Browns were blown out by Miami, but they aren’t moving down the NFL power rankings. Cleveland is better than all the teams behind it on this list.

9. New England Patriots (LW: 9)

New England is coming off its bye for a huge game at home against the Jets. Who is going to win that AFC East clash?

8. Los Angeles Chargers (LW: 8)

The Chargers lost a close one to the San Francisco 49ers, and now host the Chiefs in a must-win if it wants any chance of taking the division.

7. New York Jets (LW: 7)

New York is also off its bye, and taking on New England in Foxboro. The winner feels great, the loser is worried about its playoff odds.

6. Tennessee Titans (LW: 6)

The Titans are moving towards another AFC South title, largely due to tremendous coaching and a quality defense.

5. Cincinnati Bengals (LW: 5)

Cincinnati had a week off and now gets to take on Pittsburgh in a rematch of Week 1’s debacle. Look for the Bengals to be fresh and motivated.

4. Baltimore Ravens (LW: 4)

Nobody has an easier schedule than the Ravens, who are already 6-3 and leading the AFC North.

3. Buffalo Bills (LW: 2)

The Bills need to stop relying so much on Josh Allen and find a more balanced offense. Otherwise, this is going to be a problem come January.

2. Miami Dolphins (LW: 3)

Miami is rolling with one of the league’s best offenses, led by MVP candidate Tua Tagovailoa.

1. Kansas City Chiefs (LW: 1)

Best quarterback, best offense and best record in the AFC.
