NFL training camp: 5 NFC storylines to watch
With August comes the crux of NFL training camp for all 32 teams. These five storylines are ones to watch in the NFC throughout the summer.
5. Do the Bucs have the right stuff to repeat?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought back all 22 starters from their championship team of a year ago. However, many are on the other side of 30 including Tom Brady, Antonio Brown, Rob Gronkowski, Lavonte David, Ndamukong Suh, Jason Pierre-Paul and more. If Tampa Bay is going to win it all once more and become the first repeat title team in almost 20 years, the biggest chore of the summer is simply avoiding the big injury.

4. Will Trey Lance push Jimmy Garoppolo right away?
Word out of San Francisco is very positive for the future, and maybe the present. While Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to be the starting quarterback in 2021, rookie and No. 3 overall pick Trey Lance is playing well in the early going. If head coach Kyle Shanahan loves what he’s seeing out of the kid, do the Niners decide to move Garoppolo out or perhaps leave him on the bench as an expensive understudy whom Lance can use to help guide him?
3. Is Dak Prescott fully recovered from his gruesome ankle injury?
After his brutal season-ending in Week 5 of last year, Dak Prescott is hoping for a rebound season under his new contract with the Dallas Cowboys. If Prescott is all the way back, Dallas should have one of the league’s best offenses with running back Ezekiel Elliott and receivers Michael Gallup, Amari Cooper and CeeDee Lamb. In the weak NFC East — which the Washington Football Team won last year at 7-9 — Prescott’s health could tip the balance of power.

2. Does Matthew Stafford have the look of a final puzzle piece?
The Los Angles Rams took huge swing when general manager Les Snead traded quarterback Jared Goff and two first-round picks for Matthew Stafford. Stafford, 33, never won a division or playoff game with the Detroit Lions, but his talent is undeniable. With running back Cam Akers sidelined for the year with a torn Achilles, Stafford will need to be the ultimate engine for the Rams, who are looking for their first title since 1999.
1. How are Aaron Rodgers and the Packers getting along?
Simple, how are Aaron Rodgers and the Packers doing? Is this a complete tire fire with sniping through the media (and maybe in person), or do the sides play nice until the season ends? The answers to those questions might determine who plays in Super Bowl LVI.
