NFL Week 10 2022: A case for each favorite

The NFL Week 10 slate is here, and it’s time to look at why the favorites are not only going to win, but cover their spreads.

Atlanta Falcons (-3) at Carolina Panthers

Atlanta is playing really well, almost stealing a game against the Chargers. The Panthers are nowhere near the Chargers’ talent level.

Seattle Seahawks at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2.5)

This game is in Germany, and the Buccaneers have to be feeling good after a last-second win over the Rams last weekend. Perhaps a big momentum swing for Tampa.

Minnesota Vikings at Buffalo Bills (-6.5)

The Bills have been dominant at home, yet to lose a game. As long as they have Josh Allen, there shouldn’t be a problem.

Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears (-3)

The Bears are really competitive, and Justin Fields is coming into his own. Plenty of reason to believe they handle Detroit.

Denver Broncos at Tennessee Titans (-3)

Tennessee should pound the Broncos, despite Denver coming off a bye week. The Titans are the vastly better team on both sides of the ball.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Kansas City Chiefs (-9.5)

The Chiefs are 6-2 and tied for the top spot in the conference. Kansas City almost got upset at home by Tennessee, so it should be focused against the Jags.

Cleveland Browns at Miami Dolphins (-4)

The Dolphins have one of the league’s best offenses. Cleveland could keep it somewhat close, but Jacoby Brissett isn’t winning a shootout.

Houston Texans at New York Giants (-6.5)

Coming off their bye, the Giants are getting the league’s worst team in their building. Expect a blowout.

New Orleans Saints (-2.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers simply don’t have offensive firepower. The Saints have their issues, but are the significantly better team.

Indianapolis Colts at Las Vegas Raiders (-6)

The Raiders are getting the ultimate gift of drawing Jeff Saturday in his coaching debut.

Dallas Cowboys (-5) at Green Bay Packers

At this point, what argument is there for the Packers to cover? Dallas is coming off the bye week and is playing great at 6-2.

Arizona Cardinals at Los Angeles Rams (-3)

This is it for the Rams, who at 3-5 have to win or face extinction in the division. Arizona, on the other hand, is already finished off.

Los Angeles Chargers at San Francisco 49ers (-7)

The 49ers might run for 450 yards in this game.

Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles (-11)

Philadelphia has been the best, most consistent team in football all year. Washington, on the other hand, couldn’t be more inconsistent.
